Zoho Business - A Better Virtual Office
This month Twin Lights is spotlighting Zoho Business, a fully featured virtual office served online, anytime.
To those of us in the North East, we experienced a winter that caused a greater loss of work hours and productivity that almost any in recent memory. Some were lucky and had technology solutions in place to help them mitigate this downtime others simply had to subsist on checking email and trying to check voicemail remotely. And if for some reason you didnt have access to the critical documents and office applications on your PC, you were simply out of luck.
There are of course solutions to this situation that have been around for some time. VPN's, elaborate internal networks, and often clunky remote desktop applications to name a few.
Luckily Zoho is making yet another business aspect a no-brainer by providing a low cost, powerful collaborative application solution hosted online. This idea of moving your office apps online getting a lot of press lately, and with Zoho Business they have taken the entirety of those office applications, storage needs and mail hosting and pushed it out to the cloud.
What does Zoho Business Include?
- Company Email hosting
- Word Processing
- Spreadsheeting
- Presentations (like MS Power Point)
- Instant Messaging
- Forums
- Webmeetings
- & More (Click through to see even more features)
And all of this comes without having to pay for multiple different software licenses per user, racks of servers, IT support and security measures making the cost argument pretty clear cut.
And the best part is the collaborative nature of it all. Sharing documents, holding discussions, hosting webmeetings... its all included and fully integrated with all of Zoho's apps such as Zoho's award winning CRM, giving it a leg up on other online tools.
